Hand carved stone panels, reliefs, tiles and losters from Maya Creations

	There are 2 types of panels: reliefs and losters. Basically, reliefs are solid and losters, or ventilators, are carved through, allowing air and light to pass. The first collection below are reliefs. You can scroll down to find losters or use the adjacent link to jump: TO LOSTERS

	Reliefs Relief panels are available in a great variety of sizes - from small tiles of 10cm square up to panels as large as 100cm square. Each of them are hand-carved from solid blocks of limestone - or palimanan - by highly skilled Balinese craftsmen. The limestone is quarried in Central Java and shipped for carving to Bali. The panels can be fixed directly onto existing walls, set into alcoves, mounted onto timber or stone sheets - or timber framed. Thoughtful lighting will magnify the impact.

Losters

Losters - or ventilators - are carved through to allow the passage of light and/or air. They can be ordered as standard single-sided or double-sided where they would be visible from both sides. They can be set into recesses in walls, mounted onto timber plaques - or framed. Another alternative is to install a light source behind the loster, creating an additional feature.

Mounted or unmounted, they can be ordered in natural stone finish - where each sample has it's own unique hues and textures - or attractively painted in vibrant colours, suitable for indoor or outdoor applications.
